為食安把關，是當前新農業施政重點之一。高雄區農業改良場(以下簡稱高雄場)每月在高屏地區鄉鎮區農會、合作社或果菜市場，安排2～3場作物健康管理講習，即在落實從食安源頭把關工作，積極輔導農民合理施肥及安全農藥，善用栽培管理、有機及安全防治等技術與資材，以「4章1Q」生產安全優質農產品，同時兼顧生產者及消費者健康。
所謂「4章1Q」就是吉園圃、有機、產銷履歷和CAS等4種驗證標章，加上QR-Code之1Q，都在規範農民生產安全的農產品，讓消費者買得放心、吃得安心。高雄場為落實從食安源頭把關工作，今年截至目前為止，已經在高屏地區鄉鎮區農會、合作社場、產銷班或果菜市場，舉辦過11場的作物健康管理技術講習會，參與的農民有731人，其中不乏中部和東部聞訊而來的農民。
高雄場林景和場長表示，健康管理講習會由其親自率隊並主持，講習會內容主要有三個部分：作物栽培管理、合理化施肥及病蟲害防治，由高雄場同仁擔任講師，深入淺出的講授最新研究結果，期許農民朝合理化的使用肥料、農藥、有機及安全資材，同時友善環境田間管理，才能兼顧生產者及消費者的健康。
中央氣象局預測受鋒面影響，今（5）日深夜北部就會陸續降雨，明（6）日全台都會明顯雨勢，再加上冷氣團南下，氣溫同時快速下降，最低溫約攝氏13度，中南部於8日（周三）天氣逐漸穩定，北部則持續降雨至周六或周日。
中央氣象局預報員劉宇其表示，今晚就會有鋒面抵達北部，中部以北與東半部，明日凌晨至上半天可能出現陣雨，有機會伴隨打雷，南部則會出現短暫雨，周二（7日）華南雲雨區抵達，雖然雨勢較小，但北部可能持續降雨一周。
另一方面，冷氣團也會在明日來臨，全台溫度都會下降，預計影響至明日至周三（8日），最低溫北部約攝氏13度、中部約攝氏15度、南部約攝氏17度，由於降雨緣故，天氣潮濕恐怕讓寒冷感受加劇。
中南部於周三開始恢復穩定天氣，降雨停止溫度上升，偶爾會有陽光，最高溫可能在攝氏25度，但日夜溫差大，北部因降雨持續，溫度上升幅度不大，最高溫約攝氏17至20度。
